Beer by the River 2016 – new venue, new dates & save £ on tickets

Great news all!

After months of scouring our (rather large) back yard for a suitable location, we are happy to announce that Beer by the River will return for 2016 on Saturday 10th September… This year sees us make the move to a picturesque, tree lined site in the South Western corner of Tooting Common. We have already started signing up a great range of brewers, some outstanding musical acts and plenty of entertainment for adults and kids alike. This year will also see the return of some of your favourite food trucks including fan favourites Liberty Cheesesteak. Plan for a relaxing, late summers day in front of the big stage, with 30+ brewers, 100+ beers and years of fond memories.

Here at Sambrook’s we are South London and proud, Beer by the River is a craft beer festival without the top knots, vintage ‘taches or unicycles.

btw (psst): Pre-book your tickets (Click HERE) to Beer by The River and save 50% off on the door prices. 🙂

Music and Food Line Up

First up…. The Music.

We are delighted to bring you the line-up for Beer by the River 2015. Thanks to our friends at the Bedford in Balham who have helped to find such a diverse and talented bunch of performers and also to the team from Terminal Studios who have provided the stage and sound for the acts. We hope you enjoy the music and maybe you’ll be seeing some of the acts on a bigger stage in the future.

Beer List: Beer By The River 2015 – over 50 beers, 24 breweries

BBTR Beer Tent

This year’s cask ale selection is bigger and better, with over 50 different beers to choose from 24 different breweries. We have hand-picked the beers to give you a fantastic selection of different styles and flavours, so go ahead and try some out for yourself.

Craft Beer is rich in flavours and if there is one thing that we have learned over the last 7 years is that everyone has their own favourites. In the beer lists below we have provided a guide to the style, abv, colour and hoppiness, but we have also left a space for you to write your own tasting notes.

Sambrook’s Cask Ales

As in previous years we are featuring our full range of products which include familiar favourites, such as Wandle, Junction & Pumphouse Pale Ale, but also a selection of seasonal cask ale and keg beer, our last ever cask of Barley Wine, now aged for 24 months and a new collaboration beer brewed by our head brewer Sean and Nic Donald from the Four Thieves brewpub in Battersea.

Guest Beers

Our guest beers include breweries close to home and from further afield. Carefully chosen by our Sambrook’s team; we have something, we hope, for everyone.
